Nikki Klarmann, Public Outreach Archeologist, Kansas Historical Society, in partnership with the Kansas Anthropological Association, Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site, and Midwest Archeological Center .Nikki Klarmann attended Baylor University for her bachelor’s degree and attended Michigan State University where she received a master’s degree in anthropology in 2014 and is also a doctoral candidate pursuing a PhD in anthropology. Klarmann came to the Kansas Historical Society in 2018 to serve as the Public Outreach Archeologist for the Kansas Historical Society. Through this role, she coordinates the annual Kansas Archeology Training Program field school, an opportunity for the public to work alongside professionals on an archeological project.
