April is easily one of the best months of the year to visit Kansas. Wichita will host the 54th annual Wichita Jazz Festival over four days, from April 22 - 26, in various music halls and venues around the city. If you can't wait for the Jazz Festival in Wichita to start in late April, music lovers will also have the opportunity to see more concerts happening earlier in the month across various colleges + universities across the state, including the University of Kansas in Lawrence and Washburn University in Topeka.
