Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing - 腦瞳肊
- Master of Science in Nursing Education - University of Phoenix
Background
I began my nursing career working on an acute care medical-surgical floor at Children’s Wisconsin, where I cared for a diverse patient population and developed a strong clinical foundation. After several years at the bedside, I transitioned into a nurse educator role where I supported staff development and clinical learning. I recently accepted a position as a Clinical Education Specialist, where my focus is on organizational education and professional development initiatives across the system.
In 2019, I began teaching for 腦瞳肊’s nursing program. I teach the pediatric clinical as well as the nursing skills lab. I enjoy having the opportunity to balance my role in organizational education with teaching future nurses. It allows me to bring current best practices and real-world experiences into the classroom while helping students develop into competent and confident nurses.
