Sedan is a community located in the Southeast region of the state and was founded back in 1871 after the Battle of Sedan in the Franco-Prussian War (1870-71). Major attractions in the city include the , , , and , which offer amazing outdoor recreation in the area. The beautiful Butcher Falls are located just west of town on the Red Buffalo Ranch.
